Ecology & Archaeology


This article explains that deforestation and agriculture causes mosquitos and diseases surch as malaria. the article studies ancient Rome and how the population was dealing with this problem. the article says that romans were building their cities on lower ground because water was easily accessible but during summer time, to prevent getting diseasesw froom mosquitos, they would go and live in upper side on hills etc. Overall, the article suggest that agriculture and deforestation brings mosquitos which can spread diseses.
